加拿大 / 有人去過Kamloops嗎??

我之前有去過好幾次..溫哥華去到那差不多3.4個小時

那裡真的蠻無聊的說...

外國人很多

不過如果要華人的食物的話

就比較少

夏天7.8月的時候真的很熱  (那裡應該算內陸吧)

哇~沒想到  有人去過那裡!!
真是讓我有些感動耶~~
因為聽我朋友說  那裡好像很偏僻~
氣候有點類似  沙漠@@?

請問一下
kamloops的天氣真的很乾嗎~?
因為我本身膚質就不是很好~
((容易過敏&痘痘肌))
有個大大說~
那裡的冬天會很冷
是真的嗎~是真的嗎~是真的嗎~

冬天大概都是幾度呢@@

所以我只能告訴你那裡夏天真的很悶也很乾

冬天的話我就不知道了

Are  you  going  to  TRU(  Thompson  River  University)?^_^

Temperature  wise,  Kamloops  climat  is  considered  semi-desert(  hot  &  dry  but  not  humid),  summer  temp  usually  is  around  low  30s  but  can  be  as  high  as  40  degrees;  winter  is  usually  in  the  minus  with  several  inches  of  snow.

Town  is  small  but  have  a  friendly  feel,  most  residents  are  working  middle  class.  If  you  are  looking  to  try  some  winter  sports(summer  sports  too),  you  go  to  the  right  place;  however,  if  urban  lifestyle  is  your  thing  thats  the  wrong  place  to  be.

p.s.  Are  you  ESL?  If  you  are  interested  in  getting  a  univ  dipolma,  you  may  consider  applying  UBC  Okanagan  after  you  finish  your  courses  in  Kamloops.  UBC  Okanagan  is  a  lot  easier  to  get  into  than  UBC  main  campus  in  Vancouver.

p.s.s.  We  drove  pass  Kamloops  3  or  4  years  ago,  and  found  J.Lo,  Morgan  Freeman  and  Robert  Redford  shooting  a  movie  there.  (an  unfinished  life)

How  can  you  know  that!!??
I`m  very  surprised  you  know  that  university!!
In  fact,  some  of  my  friends  told  me  Kamloops  is  like  countryside.  When  they  were  in  Kamloops,  they  said  the  place  is  boring!!
Because  of  that,  I`m  a  bit  worried!  However,  I  dont  really  mind  wherever  I  stay  in.  If  the  place  is  good  for  studying,  then  its  ok  tho.

Actaully,  I`ll  stay  in  Canada  to  get  bachlor  degree.  And  I`m  interested  in  tourism.
Because  of  that,  my  agency  recommended  me  TRU!
They  said  Kamloops  is  a  popular  spot  for  tourists.
But,  TRU  is  a  new  school  tho.  Many  canadians  dunno  what  is  TRU~  that  surprising  me.

I`ve  heard  about  UBC  Okanagan,  but  I  really  hv  no  idea  about  the  school.
I`m  wondering  what`s  different  between  UBC  Okanagan  and  UBC  in  Van?

perhaps  you  should  consider  U  of  Calgary...    It`s  better  in  tourism  and  hotel  management..

一個夏天不下雨 
冬天會下雪的地方
但沒有Calgary或Banff的冬天那般酷寒
不管冬天夏天都很乾燥
乾到我的頭髮像稻草
所以適合種西洋蔘

天啊
那裡的景觀真是光禿禿的
冬天的街景則是"荒涼"二字可形容
你真的要去那裡讀書哦
oh~真了不起
要是我
真是無法忍受那裡的不方便

說到kamloops又勾起許多回憶
再補充幾點資訊
交通方面我記得kamloops是有機場的
可從Vancouver轉機
若是開車則有Highway到達
好像是1號還是5號Highway
當然也可以搭火車
VIA有一條路線就是經過kamloops到達Jasper

kamloops天氣很乾燥
保濕要做好
不是只有臉部哦
皮膚較敏感的人手腳也要小心
要經常補充保濕乳液
普通乳液可能不夠力
對我來說綿羊油  含維他命E的乳液不錯
可預防起紅疹等過敏症狀

他不是新學校
大約1970年代就成立
旅遊餐飲等科系蠻不錯
這學校只有大學部  提供bachelor  degree
大約7-8000人的學校
國際學生少
華人更少

記得帶妳平常使用的護理藥品
包括外用及內服
那裡就醫不便
小感冒沒人在看醫生的
若你會有過敏現象
記得帶些藥膏
像是醫師處方用藥或是中醫院會有的中藥配方藥膏
都可以讓你的皮膚過敏情況緩解
還有要提醒你
不要用高於體溫太多的水洗臉洗澡

至於青春痘
唉~看到那兒會不會好點
我是壓力大時會冒幾顆
帶你平常使用的痘痘急救品就對了
不然乾燥加上痘痘
夠妳受的~

不過若是在台灣受鼻子過敏之苦
到那裡就會不藥而癒

那裡是小地方
大部分人很親切
就是公領域的部分很nice
相處起來很舒服
至於私領域
就看大家交往的程度了
也是也爛人啦



 

不曉得你會滑雪嗎    如果還不會  可以趁在Kamloops  的時候學    不然好可惜    個人感覺是Kamloops  附近的滑雪場  隨便一個都比溫哥華這邊還好

離Kamloops不遠  有一個Sun  Peaks  Ski  Resort  我漫喜歡這裡的ski  hills    這裡也是奧地利國家滑雪隊在北美唯一的滑雪訓練場所  我漫喜歡這裡的

還有一個Harper  Mountain  Ski  Hill  比較小  也比較便宜

另一個Big  White  也很不錯  離Kelowna比較近  他的夜間滑雪只要五元而已  你如果技術不錯  可以試試
