Philip Lim is the new Chloe?

上次好像在satineboutique有看到

沒看過Philip  Lim的衣服
不過有沒有覺得這一季的Derek  Lam有Chloe的感覺呢?

其實我並不知道Philip  Lim是誰,  買衣服很少注意設計師背景.  不過剛剛去Google找了一下,  原來他是Development的設計師&創辦人之一.     

我一直非常喜歡Development的衣服也買過幾件,  剪裁俐落修飾效果也不錯,  早期設計更是有濃厚Katayone  Adeli的味道(剛剛在文章讀到他曾是Katayone  Adeli助手),  副牌White我也非常喜歡.  我在網上也找到了幾件3.1  by  Phillip  Lim的衣服,  說真的我還真沒辦法把他的設計跟Chloe聯想在一起,  不知道為什麼UK  Vogue會說他是New  Chloe

另外我有點搞不懂到底他的名字是Philip還是Phillip啊?  大部分都是寫兩個ll,  但是UK  Vogue是寫一個l.  該不會指的是不同人吧。。。。。

對對對    我也是覺得這一季的Lam根本就是Chloe翻版    還有    Phi是Balenciaga和Rick  Owens的雙胞胎^_^

Satine  Boutique  是在  L.A.,  東西還滿  eclectic,  不愧是  one  of  my  must  stop-by  boutiques  when  I`m  there.    那個店裡的  co-owner,  Jeanne,  人很好,  跟我表姐是  best  buddies  :)    有空的話不妨考慮去逛逛,  you  might  even  have  a  chance  to  get  a  celebrity  sighting~  (nicole  ritchie,  mischa  barton,  還有滿多  celebs  都滿愛  shop  there).

Philip  Lim  3.1  的商品我都看得差不多了.  坦白說,  真的有  Chloe  的味道,  但他還是有帶一點  Development  和  White  的  edge.    在他  studio  發現剪材方面真的跟以往大不同  (less  clingy  more  whispy).

Luxe,

我覺得  3.1  isn`t  as  functional  as  Development.    可是他  definitely  有  bring  out  the  essence  of  him  in  his  designs.    I  felt  that  he  was  somewhat  constrained  at  Development  since  he  had  to  constantly  carry  out  the  L.A.  look.    好笑的是,  he  even  said  that  himself!     

Waahh..  I  logged  on  too  late!    I  miss  the  1st  reunion~  :(

聽說Satine也要在紐約開店了^_^

見仁見智吧    我覺得被拿來做比較不見得是不好的事    有時甚至會有flattered的感覺    跟抄襲無關   
大家當然會給亞裔或華裔打氣    但是自己也要有好的作品呈現出來才好    目前我聽到對3.1的評價是ok    希望他再接再厲

聽說3.1的品質不好>_<

Phillip  Lim出男裝了

他是極度被看好的紐約新銳設計師,  美版Bazaar,  Elle,  Vogue已連續好幾個月有他的相關報導,  非常期待他9/10在New  York  Fashion  Week的Runway  Show.

Phillip  Lim太屌了。之前試穿一件Blazer，不對稱剪裁，帶金的布料，非*常*好*看*，還有試了洋裝，上衣，我說真的，沒有誇張，一穿上去就覺得，天阿！終於有設計師瞭解女人要的是什麼了！I`m  saved!!!適合大約25~40的女人，屬於知性，自信，intelligently  sexy，太好看了！two  thumbs  up!

我在aloharag上發現

他的衣服都是made  in  China的

品質沒有問題嗎

有點擔心

但衣服比我想像中的便宜

希望不會因為名氣大增而大漲就好
