電影心得PRESENT：

這是關於家庭間的親情、同學間的友情、父母和情人的愛情還有工作同仁之間的關係交錯的複雜情境所構成的最佳影片，是一部批判美國中產階級市郊的生活（suburban  life）。這些人深怕自己無法融入主流社會，因此對於特立獨行的人與事物無法認同，另一方面自己的生活當然也就缺乏特色與活力，象徵著美國市郊生活的虛假與誇俗。中產階級的市郊生活因為失去了自我，看不見生命的意義，因此圖有如鮮紅玫瑰的外表，骨子裡卻是死亡。片中父母關愛子女的方式、性開放、同性戀的話題觀點上認知的差異造成的誤會，都值得讓人深入去探討，影片中用到了許多玫瑰花瓣我想或許是因為玫瑰（及父母的愛、同學的友情）總是帶刺，也諷刺出美國人對於愛的“無私奉獻”，卻而造成莫大的傷害。

It`s  the  best  film  about  friendship  between  the  parents  ,  lovers  ,  schoolmate`s  and  also  the  work  colleague`s  that  criticizes  the  American  middle  class  suburban  life.  The  people  who  are  afraid  oneself  to  be  unable  to  integrate  the  mainstream  society,  so  therefore  regarding  is  individualistic  the  human  and  the  thing  are  unable  to  approve,  on  the  other  hand  their  life  certainly  also  lack  the  characteristic  and  the  vigor,  is  symbolizing  the  American  suburbs  life  false  and  quart  vulgar.  Because  the  middle  class  suburbs  life  has  lost,  cannot  see  the  life  the  significance,    the  chart  has  like  the  bright  red  rose`s  semblance,  but    actually  dies.  The  parents  show  loving  concern  the    children`s  misunderstanding  way,  and  the  opening,  the  homosexuality  topic    in  difference  creates  viewpoint  ,  is  worth  letting  us  to  discuss,Also  In  the  movie  used  many  rose  I  think  maybe  its  because  there  is  no  rose  (and  parents`  love,  schoolmate`s  friendship)    without  a  thorn.The  satire  displayed  the  American  regarding  to  like  “the  selfless  contributions”,  but  also  actually  caused  the  greatest  damage.
