「洋」∼∼我還以為是指「東洋」    原來是「西洋」才對

小五金∼∼版主可否解釋這個定義    舉個例子

日據時期日本政府以台灣殖民地作為近代化和西化的模型,那時台灣很多建築的確都是西式的,如現在的光點戲院和當代藝術館等,

迪化街上許多日據時代的老房子,就是仿巴洛克式的建築..

在那個時代,西方是世界強勢和強權的代表,所以西化也等同是權力和富有的象徵~~

日本的明治維新就是致力於西化,因為日本人期待自己也能成為像西方一樣的強權國家..

thesis  title都以簡單直接為主  盡量少用字  通順  意明
所以我想想這樣寫比較好

我把日治拿走  因為我覺得有點重複
另外    小五金是指建築裝飾吧

又：Architecture  是不加s的∼∼

迪化街一帶民宅不曉得能不能算是歷史主義(Historicism)建築,能算的話用這個辭可能精簡一點
小查一下,日治時期西洋式樣建築學界好像沒有很統一的稱呼
你挑個學界最常用的辭會不會比較清楚?
要不然我也覺得題目好長呀

另外,鐵窗&小五金能不能簡化為鐵具或是其他名詞?
如果都是鑄鐵就好辦事了,直接叫做  cast  iron

忘記講,如果都是鐵器,也可以稱為  iron  work(當然是把鐵窗給包含進去了)

鐵窗&小五金不能簡化為「鐵具」
因為五金包含的材質很廣泛，如：金銀銅鐵錫……等等

小五金大至上來說就是建築裡的「裝飾五金」
如：門把手、窗扣、窗簾布挽掛勾……等等

查了一些thesis    title
有幾個名詞字眼一定要進去：
Occupation、western    style    architecture
