i  think  you  can  just  unlock  it.    A  friend  of  mine  unlocked  the  phone  so  it  can  be  used  in  the  UK.   

Try  to  get  it  done  in  the  states  before  you  bring  it  to  Taiwan  thou.    In  taiwan,  I  brought  my  SE  w580i  to  a  store  and  asked  them  to  unlock  it  for  me,  and  they  made  it  sound  so  complicated.  like  it  might  ruin  the  phone  and  they`d  have  to  send  it  elsewhere  blah  blah  blah.   

I  came  back  to  Vancouver  and  called  up  a  cellular  repair  shop  to  see  if  they  could  unlock  it  for  me.  they  said  it`d  cost  20  dollars  and  i`d  be  able  to  use  it  anywhere.   

Anyway,  so  becareful  of  who  you  go  to.    Find  someone  trustworthy  and  you  should  be  able  get  it  done

如果版主現在的IPHONE是綁AT&T的sim卡((表示還沒做任何的軟體破解))--

能用，不過用的是AT&T國際漫遊費率，因為這部IPHONE無法使用AT&T以外任一家電信公司的sim卡。

不過台灣現在有相當多的通訊行都有辦法破解IPHONE鎖AT&T  sim卡的問題了，回台灣時順便破解一下也不錯。


如果版主現在的IPHONE用的不是AT&T的sim卡，那到台灣時隨便申請一家電信公司的門號馬上能用。

台灣九月份就會由中華電信引進iPhone  3G的手機囉!!

AT&T的人員是不會幫版主ULOCK這隻手機的，因為當初IPHONE的行銷策略就是跟AT&T合作綁住這個市場。
