請幫我看看我寫的英文翻譯對不對~thanks

昨晚我躺在床上快睡著時，突然記起今天有兩個考試。我完全忘了它們，所以我很快跳下床，衝進書房。雖然我又累又想睡，仍強迫自己熬夜到凌晨三點，設法複習所有我該研讀的功課。不幸的是，我今天早上的考試都沒考好，因為我沒睡好而頭痛。等到最後一分鐘才念書真的不是個好主意。
I  suddenly  remembered  that  I  have  two  tests  today  when  I  was  almost  asleep  last  night. 
I  forgot  them  so  completely  that  I  quickly  jumped  out  of  bed  and  rushed  into  the  study  room.  Although  I  felt  tired  and  asleep,  but  I  still  forced  myself  to  stay  up  late  until  3  a.m.
for  trying  to  review  all  homework  I  had  to  study.  Unfortunately,  due  to  that  I  had  a  headache  from  not  sleeping  well  so  I  didn`t  do  well  on  the  test  this  morning.  From  the  experience,  I  have  learned  that  it  is  not  a  good  idea  to  study  until  last  minute.

我希望是針對我寫的內容給我一些建議
我今天早上的考試都沒考好，因為我沒睡好而頭痛---這句的翻譯不知道寫這樣行不行，我想很久，想不出較好的寫法
還有，如果在寫翻譯時，自己加一些話進去可以嗎
像是最後一行多加的(From  the  experience,  I  have  learned  that  )
這樣OK嗎，因為我是覺得念起來會比較順
但考英檢時，不知道可不可以這樣耶~~
