There are lots of little stores in Akihabara that sell below market price. And of course, most tourists don`t know about this...
When you buy stuff at Sakuraya and other places like that, they are supposed to give you "point collecting card" (again, usually tourists don`t know about this)
If you pay cash, you can ususally get 20% or 15% of discount from the original price.
Points will be added onto your card and 1 point is 1 yen.
Therefore, if you do get the point card, you will get a discount of 20 to 15% off from the original retail price...
