Well, that depends on what kind of job you are looking for. Although many Japanese speak English, when you are assigned to Japan, being able to speak their language is definitely a big plus for you. Same goes to other languages.
Spanish is very very useful for companies involved in Latin American market. Think of these followings:
1. Miami is known as "Capital of Latin America," "Financial Capital of Latin America," and "Gateway to Latin America." Many multinational companies, including IBM, HP, Gap, Oracle, Komatsu, Acer..., set up their regional headquarters there. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is (almost) essential there.
2. More and more Taiwanese companies are searching for Spanish employees cause Latin America is an emerging market. I have seen many Taiwanese companies looking for Spanish translators.
3. Free Trade Area of Americas (FTAA) will be created by 2005.
I have taken my cousin's <Luxe's, who is also on the board and taught me a lot:)> suggestion to learn Spanish for some time now and am thinking to study German in the near future.
