And on the other hand, if you are in the business school, you will be taking classes like Financial Accouting, Econ, Business Law, Marketing Management...etc.
If you do go to CMU, let me know cuz I have an good ABC friend who goes there. CMU is full of ABCs (those who can't really read or write chinese, only good at speaking). And many of them are from TAS (Taipei American School). According to the admission director at CMU, TAS is one of the top feeder school for CMU.
Liberal School are not very specific and yes, usually they have a lower # of students.
CMU is almost as hard as GU(Georgetown) in terms of the SAT scores that they are looking for. CMU is really strong in their sciences, so they tend to look for students who have good Math SAT 2 (Math IC and IIC) scores.
GWU is full of GU rejected...and many of my friends who did really well in high school and on their SATs did not get into GU because GU likes to accept rich students.
On of my friends who went and had an interview at GU said that the GU guy asked her how much do her parents make a year! My friend refused to answer that question and she didn't get in...interesting, isn't it...
