tiffany的鑽石有gia證書,基本上一顆鑽石有gia的證書那身價一定比較貴,因為gia的鑑定是比較嚴格的.再來,他們對於切工很講究,這就是為什麼他們的鑽很亮.鑽石有一定的比例,如果買過鑽石有證書的人可以把證書拿出來看,有一項polish和minor symmetry,這兩像是決定切工是否良好,而tiffany的鑽大約都有good or very good以上,成色及淨度他們也很堅持一定要在某種級數以上. 這樣的鑽石不是只有tiffany賣,台北一些珠寶店也有,價錢tiffany一定比較貴,因為他打上了牌子.
基本上,唯一在tiffany買鑽戒的缺點就是他都是已經鑲好的,而鑲工可以掩飾一些鑽石上面的缺陷.這就是為什麼一克拉以上的鑽石買裸鑽比較好,因為你可以清楚的看出來這個鑽石有沒有什麼你覺得不喜歡的小瑕疵.瑕疵如果已經可以用肉眼看出,那這顆鑽石可以不用考慮,一般我們鑑定鑽石是用10倍的放大鏡.在10倍以下看到的瑕疵,可以決定用鑲工來掩飾.
買鑽石這種事,如果有可以信任的珠寶店那是最好,若沒有,那最好選有gia證書的鑽石,因為比較有保障而且gia證書是國際公認的,價錢方面有證書的一定比較貴,但是一分錢一分貨.
如果真的不會看,又怕被騙,那多花點錢去買tiffany的就是買一份心安,這樣應該可以讓你了解為什麼他們標價比較貴了吧.

I really like Harry Winston, they do have some really nice quality stones, hopeully someday I can save enough money to get myself something from their store. In Taiwan Tiffany is probably the most famous jewelry store so alot of girls prefer to get their wedding ring there, but personally I won't recommend my friends and relatives to shop there (for diamonds), because no need to pay those extra money just for few letters on the inside of you ring.

I think I've seen it in a magazine before, it is a very elegant looking piece. They have a boutique in Taipei I believe, but not alot of people know about it.
My wedding ring wasn't from any big brand jewelry store, the stones were from my mother-in-law and I designed the style I like to have a local jewelry store hand crafted. Even though it may look simple, but it is very meaningful. I really think that is the whole point of wedding ring.
