I have tried one. And yes, it wouldn`t be nice placing it around your hips. Best to be in front of you, or right at the back. Then again, being right at the back may just draw too much attention back there?
I tried on a 37cm. It`s a comfortable size. And yes, there are 2 sizes. 34cm is the other size. I needed to find out for myself how to wear the Jypsiere in a comfortable fashion. I.e. what to do with the straps and flap. Best way I found, was still to tuck in the flap like we would with a classic Birkin. But that way, it has a drawback. The flap tucked in, with block the 2 pockets (with gusset) at the back of the back. One smaller for handphone, and the other ... anything else (looked like a small note/phone book could go in there). The opposite side is where the zipped pocket is. Different from the classic Birkin again.
Only made in Clemence now. The strap is adjustable and has a shoulder piece/pad. But with the buckle, it makes the bag heavier. At one point when I was adjusting the strap, because the leather is so heavy and soft, the belt came apart. The hardware is huge, like the JPG shoulder Birkin`s.
The bottom is a bit awkward with the flat piece of leather which is about 8-10cm. No feet. But I expect the bag to soften very quickly and over time, become a fantastic messenger bag. Very chic. The price for us over here is the s
