好久不見,歡迎回來:)

不好意思跑去度假才剛回來(其實根本不想回來),
感謝Luxe的推薦,除了羅馬該逛的古蹟外,走訪了像Gellaria  Spada和Casa  di  Goethe,Vill  Farnesia這些遊客稀少卻蒐藏豐富的地方,充實極了!Villa  Boughese則是躲避酷暑的最佳場所,至於美食,Trastevere幾乎每晚報到,街坊的氣氛讓我想到台灣...Pizzeria  Leonina則解決不少頓午餐,還有太多太多....白天全是遊客的羅馬,晚上則還給當地人,不少精采的活動,身在其中感覺和這城市更靠近.治安也比想像中好多.

米蘭男裝週剛結束,接著巴黎也開始了,看過再來和大家分享心得,不過瞥了一眼Burberry  Prorsum,個人感覺有點恐怖..

這兩天巴黎08春夏男裝也開始了,鮮豔的用色似乎還是當道,不過處理的最好的應該是Raf  Simons吧,而且也算是比較有新意的collection,新穎材質和變形剪裁都蠻精采和協調,那個彩色運動靴有讓我想到秋冬女裝的Balenciaga.

Lavin也不賴,formal  mix  casual,顏色清爽柔軟,一派休閒公子哥模樣.

至於Kris  Van  Assche出掌的Dior  Homme好看但少了驚艷.希望一季會比一季精采.

Christian  Dior  Couture  AW  08

EVERY  show  by  John  Galliano  feels  like  a  celebration  -  and,  on  the  tenth  anniversary  of  his  appointment  as  creative  director  at  the  house  of    Christian  Dior,  which  also  coincides  with  the  60th  anniversary  of  the  house  itself,  the  bar  was  certainly  high  as  A-list  fans  including  Juliette  Binoche,  Monica  Bellucci,  Sophia  Coppola,  Marisa  Berenson  and  Kate  Hudson  flocked  to  the  Versailles  Orangerie  to  see  just  how  so  many  momentous  moments  would  be  translated  onto  the  Couture  catwalk.  Galliano  does  not  do  disappointment.  His  collection  did  pay  homage  to  Dior`s  groundbreaking  New  Look  of  1947,  but  rather  more  prominently  referenced  the  legendary  designer`s  art-world  influences.  Guests  were  treated  to  a  visual  onslaught  of  the  most  lavish  creations,  modelled  by  names  only  a  designer  of  Galliano`s  stature  can  command  -  Helena  Christensen,  Linda  Evangelista,  Naomi  Campbell,  Gisele,  Amber  Valetta,  Stella  Tennant  and  Karen  Mulder  amongst  them  -  as  Caravaggio,  El  Greco,  Monet,  Renoir  and  Cocteau  were  reimagined  in  bustles,  silks,  embroidery,  feathers  and  devastatingly  elegant  black  velvet.  The  show,  which  was  dedicated  to  Galliano`s  right-hand  man,  Steven  Robinson,  who  died  earlier  this  year,  has  certainly  raised  the  stakes  in  Paris  as  Chanel,  Christian  Lacroix  and  Givenchy  prepare  to  take  to  the  runways  today  -  the  front  row  no  doubt  recuperating  quietly  after  last  night`s  blow-out  black  tie  Dior  party.

捍衛優雅  范倫鐵諾大秀移師羅馬
藍天、艷陽、范倫鐵諾（Valentino），7月的羅馬盡是時尚。

優雅化身的義大利時尚大師范倫鐵諾在一場17年來首度移師故鄉羅馬舉行的「高級訂製服」大秀前，接受媒體訪問時，先是親口否認了退休傳言，並且以繼續投入女裝設計的行動，捍衛他所奉行的優雅和雍容風華。范倫鐵諾說，「比起從前，現代女性的選擇更多，因而更需要依賴優雅來決定她的品味。」

「喜歡60年代，那種純淨氣質之美，」的范倫鐵諾直言，「最受不了極簡派的設計，和胡亂拼組的街頭頹廢風」他笑稱，「這簡直是對女性的一種侮辱。」范倫鐵諾形容，60年代的洋裝，除了裙身短了點之外，兼具實穿和優雅的風格，至今都是時尚圈裡取之不盡的設計靈感。

范倫鐵諾品牌雖然已被全世界歷史最悠久的紡織公司「Marzotto集團」收購，但是他仍然繼續擔任品牌設計和創意總監。范倫鐵諾的名字遍及全世界69個國家，去年營業額達到2395萬歐元。

7月7日下午5時（羅馬時間），義大利國寶大師范倫鐵諾首度把他的「高級訂製服秀」移師故鄉羅馬。包括義大利政府、羅馬市府官員、范倫鐵諾先生友人、名流、包括Vogue美國版總編輯安娜溫杜爾（Anna  Wintour）及國際媒體圈重量級人士、美國影星「欲望城市」女主角的莎拉潔西卡、好萊塢女星塢瑪舒嫚、英國女星伊莉沙白赫麗、張曼玉、舒淇等亞洲女星等都是座上客，超過1千位貴賓參與盛會。(udn  news)

Jean  Paul  Gaultier  Fall  2007  Coture

精采的Gautier訂製服,融合童話裡貴族服裝的經典刺繡細節,
挺拔的騎士軍裝,令人驚喜的idea.最近幾季的Gaultier無論在自己名下的男女裝,Hermes及最近的Coture,都有源源不絕的奇想.

You  would  have  thought  princess  fairy  tales  old  hat  and  certainly  open  to  question  after  the  publication  of  “The  Diana  Chronicles,”  but  Mr.  Gaultier  found  a  way  to  enchant  us.  This  was  his  best  haute  couture  show  in  several  years,  a  wonderful  mix  of  Paris  tailoring  (for  elegant  pantsuits  and  embroidered  trench  coats)  and  thoughtful  wit.

The  fairy  tale  had  a  maharajah  twist.  But  here,  too,  Mr.  Gaultier  avoided  the  predictable  plot,  with  biscuit-color  jodhpurs  in  crocodile  with  an  embroidered  silk-satin  blouse,  an  egg-shape  parka  in  silvery  beige  silk  embroidered  with  Asiatic  dolls,  an  ornate  kilt,  and  crowns  of  hair.

Sometimes  the  sartorial  jokes  get  the  better  of  Mr.  Gaultier,  but  not  this  time.  The  obvious  quality  of  the  workmanship  and  the  sureness  of  his  hand  kept  you  engaged,  especially  when  he  sent  out  a  gorgeously  draped  navy  satin  dress,  sashed  on  the  left  hip,  with  an  officer’s  coat  in  matching  silk.  Or  a  virtual  second  skin  of  embroidery  and  stones  under  a  long  leopard-print  cape.  Even  the  Raj  prince  who  came  out  toward  the  end  was  a  hunk.

While  the  glitterati  have  been  nursing  sore  heads  since  Valentino`s  lavish  45-year  anniversary  preparations  last  weekend,  the  business  has  been  going  full  steam  ahead;  Valentino  Group  Spa  has  bought  a  45  per  cent  stake  in  US  fashion  label  Proenza  Schouler,  the  four-year-old  venture  of  design  duo  Lazaro  Hernandez  and  Jack  McCollough.  "We`re  happy  we  now  have  a  security  net  for  our  company,  which  we  never  had  before,"  says  Hernandez.  "The  business  has  been  growing  exponentially,  and  to  do  that  you  need  the  proper  funding.  It`s  also  having  a  strategic  partner  who  can  really  get  involved  in  terms  of  the  factories,  to  be  able  to  help  with  timely  deliveries,  and  with  distribution  networks  -  all  things  the  Valentino  Fashion  Group  has  a  lot  of  strength  in."  The  move  is  not  only  a  coup  for  Proenza  Schouler,  which  is  known  for  its  modern  take  on  classic  elegance.  The  label  has  a  huge  celebrity  following  and  this  year  won  Hernandez  and  McCollough  the  CFDA  Womenswear  Award  in  an  unprecedented  tie  with  veteran  designer  Oscar  De  La  Renta  -  making  it  a  clever  investment.  "These  two  young  guys  are  very  fresh  and  outstanding,"  Stefano  Sassi,  Valentino  Fashion  Group`s  chief  executive  officer  -  who  will  now  also  become  chairman  of  Proenza  Schouler  -  told  WWD.  "I  think  they  have  a  great  potential  to  grow.  They  have  the  talent,  and  we  can  provide  them  the  financial  resources  that  are  required  to  develop  the  business.  It`s  the&

Summer  dresses  from  NY  Times

IN  the  mid  ’50s  Balenciaga  and  Givenchy  launched  the  chemise,  a  sharp  contrast  to  Dior’s  cinched  waist  and  immediately  nicknamed  the  sack  by  satirists.  Now  the  sack  is  back,  along  with  other  roomy  body-hiding  shapes  from  the  1950s  through  the  ’60s.  The  baby  dress,  balloon,  the  trapeze  and  the  tent  all  have  one  thing  in  common:  a  looseness  that  allows  for  the  circulation  of  air  between  cloth  and  body,  nonconstricting  comfort  for  hot,  humid  summer  days.

MCM`s  back

那場Galliano春夏的coture真的是精采萬分,
除了注入Kimono風外,有著浮世繪圖案的裙襬以3-D剪裁
呈現,除了idea,技巧也是令人讚賞!  幾季以來Galliano
無論個人品牌或Dior都將之評價推向高峰,可惜的是前不
久他失去得力的左右手Steven  Robinson.
而秋冬coture則是再現貴族宮廷風,華麗中一樣有著前衛的細節,我覺得此系列更有進博物館的價值.


題外話:英國的夏天只來了幾天,一直都淒風苦雨的....>_<"
