hi  there,

this  is  Stila  from  Philadelphia,  PA.
i`m  25  y/o  and  finished  my  MBA  on  August  3rd.
woo  la  la      no  more  exams...no  more  lecture...:  )
HOWEVER  working  full-time  isn`t  fun  all  the  time.    lately  my  job  really  tired  me  out  so  that  the  first  thing  i  did  once  i  got  home  was  to  hit  my  bed.

hey  there,  i  am  so  jealous  over  you!!!  i`ve  heard  of  nice  weather  in  Cali  for  long.    indeed  the  weather  in  east  coast  is  really  freaky,  at  least  it  is  so  in  Philly.    Thanks  to  thunderstorms,  we  had  a  cool  rainy  day  yesterday  and  a  nice  morning.    Yet  it  seems  *hot*  outside  right  now.

oh  well,  can`t  wait  to  have  my  lunch  break.

thx!    yeah  its  a  good  thing  to  finish  all  the  school  things  as  soon  as  possible.    honestly  i  am  so  sick  of  schools.   
my  english  is  pretty  crappy  i  guess.    oh  well,  after  all  its  the  3rd  language  i  speak...what  else  can  i  complain  about?    i  better  stop  being  a  whinner.  :P
okie  dokie,  back  to  your  question.    i  am  working  for  Marketing  Systems  Group  (MSG)  which  is  headquartered  in  Philadelphia  suburb.        it  has  nothing  to  do  with  "Taiwan"  thou.

what  a  cute  nick!    guess  what?  your  nick  just  reminded  me  of  my  pooh  bear.    i  luv  winnie  the  pooh  however  we  made  my  pooh  bear  a  girl  so  my  guy  likes  to  say  "pooh  is  my  bitch"  sometimes.  :P

my  family  and  i  visited  van  a  couple  times,  and  my  mom  loved  van  so  much  she  even  kinda  had  the  idea  of  moving  to  van.    crazy  mom  :(    as  for  me,  i  like  victoria  and  canadian  rockies  areas  better.    anyway...i  feel  cities  in  canada  like  van  and  toronto  are  really  different  from  where  we  live.    at  some  point,  i  think  philly  is  a  more  living  city  compared  to  cities  in  canada.

yes,  i  finished  my  bachelor  and  MBA  in  St  Joseph`s  Univ  Philadelphia,  PA.    my  concentration  is  Management  but  it  used  to  be  Decision  &  System  Sciences  (MIS  of  biz  version).

honestly,  i  didn`t  really  contribute  a  lot  of  time  and  effort  to  GMAT  preparation.    just  i  got  some  study  aids  such  as  Princeton,  Kaplan  and  whatsoever.

maybe  one  of  the  most  beneficial  advices  i  can  give  you  here  is  that  you  HAVE  TO  have  a  CLEAR  mind  on  the  exam  day.    GMAT  is  a  longass  fight  so  that  make  sure  you  have  enough  sleep  beforehand.    another  thing  is  i  don`t  really  recommend  you  schedule  morning  exam  unless  you  are  such  a  morning  person.

yesterday  my  dude  and  i  just  talked  about  those  old  good  days  in  college.    also  both  of  us  didn`t  wanna  spend  way  too  much  time  in  college  otherwise  he  would  walk  away  with  triple  major  and  i  would  have  double  major.   
hah  ha-ha-ha-ha    alrightie.    no  more  school  s***.

Usually    the    schools    (which    have    MBA    courses    )    accept    the    one    with    some    background    in    business(    or    at    least    with    working    experiences
--->which  is  true  in  most  of  the  cases
when  it  comes  to  my  story,  i  didn`t  have  much  solid  working  experience  b4  attending  grad  school.    on  the  other  hand,  i  dont  have  that  kinda  background  where  Ivanka  TRUMP  came  from.    still  i  got  accepted  by  some  schools.    honestly,  i  dont  want  people  to  look  up  to  me  just  coz  i  am  some  big  name`s  kid.    you  know  what  im  saying?    of  course  i  admit  one  thing,  being  from  a  good/rich  family  is  not  all  that  bad  to  me.

one  more  thing  here.
as  many  members  agree  on,  "practice  makes  perfect"
plus,english  is  a  living  language.    as  long  as  you  speak  the  language  more  often,  you  will  find  little  difficulty  putting  your  thought  in  words.

hah,  as  for  the  conflicting  thoughts,  i  just  have  to  say...yeah...this  might  be  so  right.    "the  grass  on  the  other  side  is  always  greener"
human  beings  are  hard  to  please  in  terms  of  everything...

wow?!  you  have  to  babysitters?    i  thought  you  take  care  of  your  kid  all  on  your  own.    how  old  are  your  babysitters?    you  might  wanna  talk  about  mama  soon-to-be  Britney  Spears  with  `em.  (don`t  get  me  wrong.    i  am  no  Spears  fan.)

by  the  way...since  you  are  in  Cali,  go  check  out  In  &  Out  which  is  a  REALLY  good  fast  food  chain.    Trust  me,  they  have  damn  FRESH  YUMMY  burgers.    well...only  one  kind  of  burger  is  served....in  3  sizes  thou,  single,  doube  and  triple  so  to  speak.    another  attribute  is  they  use  FRESH  potatos  to  make  fries.    go  give  In&Out  a  try  and  you  will  see  what  i  am  talking  about.    what  a  shame.    they  only  have  In&Out  in  west  coast.\

i  tell  you  what?    if  i  were  you,  i  wouldn`t  even  bother  to  try  out  Taco  Bell.    it  is  one  of  the  places  where  you  can  get  some  shitty  junk  food.    anyway,  KFC  and  Taco  Bell  are  Big  No-Nos  to  me.

as  for  preparing  speaking  test,  you  might  wanna  have  some  kinda  partners  to  work  on  that  with.    its  always  easier  for  others  to  point  out  some  mistakes  you  make  and  whatsoever.    another  thing  you  can  do  is  to  record  yourself.    you  might  be  really  surprised  by  how  you  actually  sound  to  others. 
hope  my  ideas  will  give  you  some  kinda  help.

sometimes  i  even  have  to  say...well  shits  happen  all  the  time.    so  what  matters  with  me  is  how  i  deal  with  those  unpleasant  problems  and  whatsoever.

i  got  somehow  confused  after  reading  thru  your  message.    but  the  comment  i  am  giving  here  is  if  you  enjoy  what  you  are  doing  at  work  then  hang  in  there.    you  will  understand  "  the  juice  is  worth  the  squeeze"    if  that  is  the  opposite,  just  get  out  of  there.    no  biggie.    i  believe  there  are  way  more  jobs  out  thereyou  can  fill.

you  know  what?    the  last  class  i  took  to  finish  my  program  is  managerial  accounting.    man,  that  was  a  kickass  class.    first  of  all,  i  am  never  an  accounting  person;  second  of  all  my  instructor  is  a  demanding  little  guy.    anywayz,  i  feel  kinda  happy  about  that  class.    at  least  i  didn`t  flunk  it.    i  got  A-.

oh  yea?    your  babysitter  called  in  sick?    well...be  sure  of  she  won`t  pass  any  nasty  virus  to  your  baby  girl.  :D

speaking  of  calling  in  sick,  sigh,  it  just  reminded  me  of  something  STUPID  i  did  on  Monday.    here  is  the  story.

last  weekend  my  guy  and  i  were  talking  about  calling  off  on  Tuesday  which  was  yesterday  cuz  both  of  us  were  so  worn-out  by  work.    honestly  i  have  no  idea  of  why  i  did  such  a  stupid  thing  by  asking  my  boss  for  a  day  off  right  after  work.    guess  what?    my  boss  said  NOPE!    no  matter  how  bad  I  begged  him.  the  only  word  he  could  give  me  is  a  heartbroken  "NO".    after  going  home,  i  told  my  dude  about  all  of  this.    he  just  cried  out  "babe  how  could  you  do  this  to  me?  you  ruined  our  honeymoon.    and  you  know  what?    it  was  really  stupid  to  ask  him  right  after  work."
as  a  result,  i  still  dragged  myself  to  work  yesterday  and  let  my  work  tire  me  out.    :(    however,  some  grocery  shopping  at  korean  mart  and  a  not-so-bad  dinner  at  korean  restaurant  sure  made  me  feel  somehow  better.      also  my  dude  gave  me  a  nice  joke.    he  didn`t  wake  up  to  call  off  so  his  boss  called  him  up  around  10.    everyone  was  so  curious  and  worried  ih  his  dept  since  he  never  called  in  sick.

well,  i  think  you`ve  been  doing  a  good  job  on  being  the  head  of  this  club.    i  don`t  see  any  reason  i  should  take  over  th

you  are  not  alone  ma`am.    i  dont  like  to  cook  either.  it  always  takes  a  lot  of  time  to  prepare  those  ingredients.    that  sucks.    however  i  do  love  grocery  shopping.    my  dude  and  i  just  can  stay  in  supermarket/farmer`s  market  forever.

just  a  question  here.    don`t  you  have  dish  washer?    if  so,  make  good  use  of  it.    let  the  machine  handle  the  dirty  job  for  you.    we  have  dish  washer  at  home.    yet  none  of  us  really  like  and  trust  the  machine,  nor  does  my  mom.    most  of  the  time,  my  dude  is  the  one  who  does  those  dirty  dishes.    lucky  me....i  dont  have  to  do  all  the  house  chores  on  my  own  since  he  is  a  great  helper.    that`s  so-called  teamwork  makes  life  easier.    i  dunno  whether  most  of  asian  guys  are  willing  to  take  care  of  housework  for  their  ladies.    guess  there  are  only  a  few.

hah,  if  i  were  your  hubby,  i`d  never  complained  about  your  food.    cmon,  think  about  all  of  the  time  and  the  hardwork.    he  should  really  appreciate  what  you`ve  done  for  him  instead  of  being  a  whinner.

as  for  my  dude,  hah,  he  is  the  man  in  his  dept.    also  he  doesn`t  really  care  whether  they  are  gonna  fire  him  or  what.    the  fact  is  he  is  looking  for  another  job.    things  are  coming  along  anyways.

in  my  opnion,  i  dont  think  bosses/supervisors  have  bad  tempers.    it`s  more  like  they  are  really  demanding  and  *bitchy*.    it`s  sad  that  you  need  to  do  something  and  say  something  to  prove  you  are  right  on  this  and  that.    another  thing  will  annoy  me  is  "underappreciation".    i  need  a  boss  to  value  my  hardwork  and  respect  me  as  an  individual.
