這句的中文意思譯為"很多教師認為逐漸發展的教育導致忽視基礎學科諸如基本的閱讀、寫作、算術能力和~~~"這句and thinking 該怎麼改才好呢? or thinking 可以嗎?

另外，attention should be given那部份譯為"該注意~~"可以嗎?
