for是對的

通常to  是    交給誰什麼東西  或對誰說什麼(對誰來說)
       
例子:  I  give  this  book  to  him(我給他這本書)/  To  me,  it  would  be  the  best  choice(對我來說那會是最好的選擇).
       
        for的話  比較像是  有目的的給予  或也有對誰來說的意思(但是後面要有句子不然就是用to)

例子:  This  book  is  for  you(這本書是我要給妳的)<--說這句話的人可能是要送妳書或為妳買了書當禮物/For  a  girl  like  me,  it  wouldn`t  be  the  best  choice.  (對像我這樣的女孩子來說,那可能不是最好的選擇).

1)  that  gift  is  for  you.
(那是送你的)

to的用法
2)  he  gave  that  to  you. 
(那是他給你的)
