美國在台協會簽證申請費將調降
美國在台協會敬告大眾，基於美元對台幣匯率的變動，非移民簽證申請費將於四月一日起自新台幣三千六百元調降至三千四百元。

此項調整乃根據匯率的變動，並非因為美國全球簽證申請費有所改變。四月一日以前所繳交的新台幣三千六百元費用將不予退費。

又要漲了嗎???真是的~AIT真是賺不少阿!

The AIT informed the public that as a result of changes in the rate of exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the New Taiwan Dollar, AIT will reduce its nonimmigrant visa processing fee, effective April 1, from NT$3600 to NT$3400.

This adjustment is made on the basis of exchange rate shifts, and not on any change in the underlying worldwide U.S. visa free structure. There will be no refund of any fees paid prior to April 1 at the NT$3600 rate.

美國駐北京大使館非移民簽證處公佈重要通知，將於三月廿二日開始在中國實施對簽證申請人進行指紋掃描，目前此項快速、電子化、不需油墨的科技掃描手續，已在全世界63個領事處採用，並在今年十月廿六日之前，美國所有駐外領發簽證的使領館，都必須配合完成此項手續，相關詳細中英文內容，請參考美國駐北京大使館網站http://www.usembassy-china.org.cn/visa/

The U.S. Embassy in Beijing informed new U.S. visa procedures in the PRC. All visa candidates must be fingerprinted when they interview for a U.S. visa. This fingerprint scanning will be implemented on Mar. 22 in China. This fast, electronic process, which requires no ink, is already taking place at 63 U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world. By Oct. 26 this year, all visa-issuing embassies and consulates worldwide will be required to collect fingerprint scans in connection with non-immigrant visa applications.
