夏日旅遊 / 新竹市立動物園及櫻花

新竹市立動物園是目前全台灣歷史最悠久的動物園，創園於民國25年，有很多人都不知道新竹有個動物園呢，近幾年在市政府編列預算大力推動修繕之下，新竹市立動物園有煥然一新的感覺，是個假日親子的好去處，票價便宜只要二個銅板，又臨近花市及新竹公園與玻工館，雖然園區的規模比不上台北市立動物園，但裡頭的動物約有70多種，有河馬、紅毛猩猩，孟加拉虎，馬來熊…等大型動物，也有很多的鳥類，已可讓小朋友認識到很多可愛的動物，每到冬日園內的櫻花盛開，更是美不勝收，不用到武陵農場去人擠人，在新竹市就有美麗的櫻花可欣賞，在麗池畔還保留有日式的房舍，別有一番日式風味，所以經常有人專程盛裝打扮來此拍照，夏日的午后也可靜靜的坐在九曲橋上，看著池裡的魚及鵝在悠游，真的是個鬧中取靜的好地方，在這繁忙的都會生活與工作壓力之中，偶爾來到這裡聽聽蟲鳴鳥叫聲，可以讓人很放鬆。<br
